Ive been divining in cards since I was just a kid. I didn’t yet know just how deep it would really go. I’ve been gifted decks over the years and they all seem to speak to myself as well as each other.
Same can be said for withcraft, I suppose. The occult and conjuring was often my solace from being estranged in a world that didn’t yet understand the science to prove it. It’s much like reading a particle collision map-and also not at all.
Meditation and the breath plays a huge part in my readings as well in the way the energy arises and makes itself known to me through physical messages and often lends practices to cultivate balance in the bodies own elements.
I believe in trance states and meditation and intention as developmental tools for strength and grace. I use Breath to listen to my Intuition and to speak to my Art.
I believe Art is much more than just the creation, but the creative process and integrity of as well. I use oils mostly, often on found objects as an exercise of turning “trash” into treasure, much like the shadow work of our lives.
I use the medium as a way of wading through emotions, channeling and exorcising the toxins as well as excavating that which was already divinely there (a soulful archeological process and an intimate dance with the medium itself) deep inside the canvas and illuminated by intuitive response in color and stroke.
I often use watercolor or ink as well. I have a fetish for contrast and utilize such a close kept medium in other flow or trance states.
I believe in Art and Spirituality. They Are harmonious in divination, divine connection and somatic therapy.
